Thanks for this post it was a lot of help. To answer Gavin's question, when I decline or accept an appointment, it sends an e-mail back to your Groupwise account - not the sender of the appointment.

Am I wrong to say that Groupwise blows?

When I receive groupwise appointments in my gcal using this method, and I hit 'decline', does the original requester of the meeting get a declined email?

Incredibly helpful, thank you. Can anyone figure out a way to do this with "Posted Appointments", too?

Janyne,

We tried a bunch of different things to make that happen, but couldn't figure out how to do it. The only way I could think of to do it was create a new gmail account specifically for NCSU, delegate to that gmail account, then grant admin privileges to your normal gmail account on that new calendar. THen you can also setup gmail to check that account for mail, as well as send email as that account.

Not ideal, but a solution :)

Thanks for this informative post.

I discovered today that you are only notified of a meeting's cancellation if you have accepted that meeting in Groupwise. I've decided to create another rule in Groupwise that auto-accepts the meetings sent to me. This way I will at have a written reminder to manually delete canceled GW meetings in my Gcal.
